Stocks Give Back Most Of Thursday's Gains
Stocks opened mixed Friday and then headed south, erasing most of the previous day's gains. The Nasdaq lopped off 1.3%, while the S&P 500 and the NYSE composite each dropped 0.9%. The IBD 50 fell 1.2%. Volume fell across the board. Economic news was generally encouraging.
