PR Log - Oct 31, 2012 - The iPad has been around for quite some time now, but serious workers still carry around a laptop for a few main reasons:
- Word Processing
- Lists, Memos, and Spreadsheets
- Managing and transmitting files
The updated Documents App by SavySoda addresses these.
http://www.savysoda.com/documentsDocuments was the very first Mobile Office Suite offered on the iPhone back in 2009. Since then it has grown from a useful but basic App to a extremely powerful and easy to use document management and mobile office solution for people on the go.
What's interesting is SavySoda's recent survey of existing users shows that around half of the people using Documents are now using it exclusively as their mobile file management tool. No laptops, just an iPhone or an iPad to do serious work on the go.
Musicians now keep their lyrics and tabs on their devices for both concerts and writing. Managers use iPads to take notes instead of a laptop.
The new version of Documents on the App Store makes many office related tasks even easier. New features include rich text editing, drop box support, and sending receiving emails with multiple attachments.
Savy Soda has also scheduled to update the other documents suites: iSpreadsheet, and Documents 2 in the coming week.
If your still using the old Laptop for work maybe its time to give try Documents on your iPad or iPhone.
