Riverbed Technology To Buy Opnet

Riverbed Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: RVBD) announced on Monday that it would pay approximately $1 billion to acquire Opnet Technologies (Nasdaq: OPNT). Shares of Riverbed plunged $4.15 to close at $18.47 while Opnet stock leaped $9.95 to close at $42.05.
