Archer Daniels Earnings Beat On Oilseed Performance
Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) reported first-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates Tuesday due to a higher than expected profit at its oilseeds processing unit. The grain trader and agribusiness giant said first-quarter earnings were 45 cents per share, down from 68 cents in 2011 but still beat estimates by 10 cents.
