BP, Valero Earnings Beat; BP Raises Dividend
BP (BP) reported third-quarter results that beat estimates Tuesday and raised its dividend after selling its stake in its Russian joint venture. The oil and gas company said third-quarter earnings were flat at $1.63 per share, beating analyst views by 34 cents. Revenue fell 7% to $90.59 billion, above estimates of $88.89 billion. Last week BP said it would sell its 50% in TNK-BP, its Russian joint venture, for $17.1 billion cash and a 12.84% stake
