Ford Sells Autoparts Company, Consumer Ratings Falls
Ford Motor (F) announced plans Monday to sell its last remaining autoparts company to Detroit Thermal Systems. The No. 2 U.S. automaker said the Michigan-based climate control business will be sold to the joint venture created by Valeo SA, a French supplier and V. Johnson Enterprises owned by former Detroit Pistons basketball player Vinnie Johnson. Financial terms were not disclosed. V. Johnson Enterprises controls 51% of Detroit Thermal Systems,
