Rockwell Collins Earnings Up, Defense Spending Falls
Rockwell Collins (COL) reported fourth-quarter profit well above analyst estimates, but weak government sales hurt revenue. The aerospace equipment maker said fourth-quarter earnings rose 17% to $1.32 per share, beating views by 20 cents. Sales dipped 2% to $1.27 bil, less than analyst estimates of $1.33 billion.
