WHAT: | To announce $7 million in grants and program funds for homebuyers in the city of Sacramento through the NeighborhoodLIFTSMprogram – an initiative designed to help people achieve sustainable homeownership. | |
NeighborhoodLIFTSM will include a two-day event on Nov. 16 and 17 at the Sacramento Convention Center where prospective homebuyers may qualify for $15,000 in down payment assistance and/or home and renovation financing grants. | ||
| In addition, prospective home buyers will be able to take advantage of home buyer education sessions and tours of selected residential properties that are available for sale in the city. | ||
NeighborhoodLIFTSM is a collaborative program of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Wells Fargo Foundation, and NeighborWorks America, an independent nonprofit organization. | ||
NeighborhoodLIFTSM is the first of its kind in the financial services industry and media is invited to cover the historic initiative. | ||
