Making Kabbalah Fashion – MIZZE “Red String Inside” Bracelets hit the Stores
PR Log - Oct 22, 2012 - MIZZE Jewelry, a boutique jewelry studio based in Israel has recently launched a new line of bracelets that takes Kabbalah Bracelets and the Kabbalah fashion to a whole new level.
Kabbalah bracelets have become trendy and popular, both by Kabbalah followers and non followers. The popularity was strengthened thanks to celebrities like Madonna, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Britney Spears, Rosanne, Paris Hilton and others. This has made the Red String a fashion trend with the added benefit of the symbolical meaning.
The meaning behind the Red String is derived from a relatively more recent ritual that started around 1880, where a plain red string (a very basic wool string) was tied seven times around the Tomb of Rachel, near Bethlehem. The purpose then was to ward off diseases, and later the famous woman’s tomb became a perceived source for fertility and protection. Finally, modern day Kabbalah philosophy made the Red String, a central element in its teachings.
Inspired by all this, MIZZE developed a new line of bracelets that is constructed with the Red String. An authentic Red String is intricately woven inside natural cotton bracelets and is combined with a selection of special charms. Charms may include the traditional Hamsa hand or a King Solomon seal made of 925 sterling silver. The various charms available are for good fortunes, from finding love and financial riches to spiritual protection or having a safe pregnancy. The cotton bands are available in ten different colors, all with the “Red String Inside".
“We want to make jewelry that isn’t mass produced. We want to offer quality handmade jewelry pieces that we can take the time to work on, and that offer our customers some real personal value. Our customers want to wear something that is well made, has some personal significance, and of course looks good”, said Eyal Beit-On, the studio’s co-owner. To that end the studio just launched a comic YouTube video campaign promoting three of the new styles.
MIZZE Made for Luck Jewelry was established in 2010 and offers a large selection of new age and spiritual jewelry from quality materials and sterling silver. The latest line of bracelets and the complete line is available at fine retail store and ecommerce stores including MostOriginal.com.
