Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE: S) will take a majority stake in Clearwire (Nasdaq: CLWR) by acquiring approximately 31 million Class A shares and approximately 2.7 million Class B shares. Shares of Sprint edged up 5 cents to close at $5.78 while Clearwire stock tumbled 23 cents to close at $2.03.
