Select Comfort (SCSS) reported third-quarter earnings above Wall Street estimates late Wednesday on a 21% jump in same-store sales and raised its outlook. But shares edged lower late. The specialty mattress maker and retailer said Q3 earnings jumped 48% to 46 cents, above estimates of 41 cents. Sales rose 24% to $246.8 million, just topping estimates of $246.6 million.
