Apollo Group Inc. (Nasdaq: APOL) reported sharply lower fourth quarter earnings of 66 cents per share compared with $1.37 per share last year as revenue fell, forecast disappointing fiscal 2013 revenue, and announced the closure of 25 campuses and the elimination of 800 jobs. Shares of the for profit educator plummeted $5.51 to $21.98.
