NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Tapad, the leader in cross-platform ad technology, has responded to a significant uptick in demand for its services by more than doubling its sales force in recent weeks.  The company (www.tapad.com) is growing across-the-board, and is also significantly bolstering its engineering, product and marketing teams.

Two new key Sales executives have now joined Tapad, including PJ Miele, formerly of AOL Advertising (AOL) and Kimberly Waichulis, formerly of MediaMind (DGIT).  Both are senior sales executives who, combined, managed more than $300 million in business in their previous roles.

Said CEO/Founder Are Traasdahl, "Evidence is everywhere that marketers are ready for Tapad's cross-platform solutions, and we need the brightest and the best to make sure they get it. Both Kimberly and PJ represent the caliber of our team, and I'm extremely proud to have them on board to help drive our expansion."

Miele is launching Tapad's offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco as the new VP of West Coast Sales. Miele was previously running AOL's largest sales team in the Western U.S., and was a member of the senior leadership team. His purview included AOL properties, Advertising.com, Video and Mobile.  Previously, he held national sales roles at Experian and Yahoo!.  Miele earned his B.A. in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.

Waichulis is based in Chicago and, as VP of the Central Region, is leading the company's aggressive expansion throughout the region.  Waichulis joined Tapad with more than 13 years of experience in pivotal sales roles for emerging technology companies and has already established new Tapad offices and robust teams in Detroit and Chicago. She most recently served as Regional VP, MediaMind (formerly Eyeblaster).  Prior to that, she held senior roles at TradingPartners and VisaNow.  She earned her degree in Business Management & Organization Behavior from Benedictine University and attended the University of Iowa with a focus on English.

Both Miele and Waichulis report to Andrew Slome, Tapad's head of Sales. Tapad's notable growth continues, with more than 30 open positions throughout the country. The company's breakthrough technologies were recently praised by WPP/Joule on behalf of Dell for their first-of-its-kind fourth-screen campaign that delivered 68% lift.  Moreover, the company has been widely credited for its industry-leading privacy practices.

Tapad Inc. is the undisputed leader in cross-platform ad technology. The company's groundbreaking technologies address the new and ever-evolving reality of media consumption on smartphone, tablets and home computers. Through Tapad, advertisers are now able to get a unified view of consumers across all screens.  Tapad has built the most robust, real-time, cross-platform audience buying technology available.
