NGC Systems' solution enhances conventional text-based SMS to attract subscribers and increase usage. The solution, incorporating the Vision VoiceXML server, adds a new layer of mobile interactivity as mobile subscribers using 2G handsets can send and receive voice-based SMS messages, and subscribers using 3G handsets will be able to send and receive both voice and video-based SMS messages.

The application is convenient and easier to use than Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) - subscribers do not need to download a client from the service provider and need only a single click to access the new application.
