BrightPoint Completes Implementation of JDA Advanced Planning Software
JDA Software Enables Robust Planning and Increased Forecast Accuracy for Customers' Supply Chains

INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 7, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. ("BrightPoint") (Nasdaq:CELL), a global leader in providing device lifecycle services to the wireless and high-tech industries, today announced that it has implemented advanced planning solutions from JDA Software Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:JDAS), including JDA Demand and JDA Fulfillment.

JDA solutions enable BrightPoint to use data and market intelligence in ways that provide the most advanced and accurate planning services for customers. This is a first within the device lifecycle management industry and offers BrightPoint customers highly advanced ways to improve forecast accuracy and reduce inventory excess, driving cost out of the supply chain.

To best enable and sustain these new supply chain capabilities, BrightPoint is leveraging JDA's Cloud Perform service for its application management and infrastructure expertise.  In addition to helping lower and control capital expenditures, JDA's Cloud Perform service enables BrightPoint to mitigate risk and preserve software value over the life of the solution.
