Regional stocks: Cascade Bancorp down 10%

News that the Federal Reserve has no plans for further stimulus to lift the economy led to a lackluster day of trading. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 32.55 points to 12,976, the NASDAQ closed down 19.31 points to 2,920 and the S&P 500 closed down 4 points to 1,375. The Davidson 99, which measures stocks in seven western states, including 19 in Oregon, closed down 2.42 points to 166.52.
