Tampa, FL - It was recently announced that Westchase Veterinary and Emergency Center in Tampa, FL is one of 5 finalists for Small Business of the Year award. This award recognizes small businesses for their outstanding contribution to the community and their continued devotion to their field of practice.
“As a finalist, we are honored to represent the Westchase and surrounding areas in this category”, said practice manager, Steve Payne. “Dr. Hamilton and his associates/staff have provided the Westchase community with superior veterinary care for over 8 years now”.
Establishing a veterinary hospital within the Westchase area that also accepted emergency cases was a top priority for Dr. Ronald Hamilton and his team when founding Westchase Veterinary Center. Dr. Hamilton, the managing veterinarian for Westchase Vet, and in cooperation with his associates, Dr. Megan Mota and Dr. Nichole Reyes, are responsible for the well-being of thousands of animals and their owners. Besides working with just individual pet owners, Dr. Hamilton and his staff service several rescue organizations, some of which include Greyhound Pets of America, Pug Rescue of Orlando and Tampa, the St. Francis Society, and the Bay Area Greyhound Adoption.
“Being able to provide these animals with the necessary care they need and then see them go to great homes via these rescue organizations, solidifies the reason I became a veterinarian in the first place”, said Dr. Hamilton.
About Westchase Veterinary and Emergency Center Westchase Veterinary and Emergency Center has positioned itself as a leader in cutting edge medicine with state of the art equipment and diagnostic capabilities. “We have an in-house laboratory for running diagnostics on animals that are presented to us in a very fragile state”, Dr. Hamilton explains.
