Project developer, Ayrshire Power Limited (APL) (Glasgow, Scotland), a wholly owned subsidiary of Peel Energy (Manchester, England), claimed it was uncertain about being able to raise the finances needed to complete the Hunterston coal-fired project in North Ayrshire.
