Duran Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DRV) ("Duran" or the "Company") reports that due to an increase in interest in the Company's previously announced non-brokered private-placement financing (the "Offering"), it has increased the maximum size of the Offering by up to 2,500,000 units (the "Units) to a total of up to 17,500,000 Units. Each Unit is being offered at a price of $0.08 per Unit, with each Unit comprised of one common share of the Company and one half of one common share purchase warrant, exercisable at a price of $0.12 per share for a period of 12 months from the date of closing. The Company has previously closed the first tranche of the Offering on June 4, 2012, issuing 7,500,000 Units for gross proceeds of $600,000. The net proceeds of the Offering will be used for exploration and development of the Company's mineral projects in Peru and general corporate purposes. The Offering is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of all necessary approvals including the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
