Microsoft Surface Tablets Take On iPad, Ultrabooks
Investors are giving an early thumbs up to Microsoft 's (MSFT) Surface tablet, which features a keyboard and trackpad built into its thin protective cover. Microsoft shares were up nearly 4%, near 31, in midday trading Tuesday, after the company late Monday announced a product to compete with Apple's (AAPL) popular iPad.
