AirSage, a world leader in analyzing wireless signaling data for value-added applications such as traffic information, market analytics and location services, is pleased to announce at the International CTIA Wireless Conference in New Orleans today that Gregory Swayne, the company’s Chairman, is expanding his role to Chairman and President. Swayne has successfully led several companies as CEO and has served as Chairman of AirSage’s Board of Directors since 2009. Swayne was also named as the fifth best “Georgia Public Company CEO” in the Atlanta Business Chronicle 2011-12 edition of its Book of Lists for his role as Chairman and CEO of HSWI, now Remark Media (NASDAQ: MARK - News).
In taking the additional role of President, Swayne will oversee operations and usher AirSage thru its next phase of growth, serving some of the world’s most successful corporations in telecom, transportation, media and more. Additionally, he will continue to serve as Chairman where he will continue to oversee investor relations and corporate governance.

Prior to accepting this role, Swayne was the Chairman and CEO of HowStuffWorks International, now Remark Media. Swayne led the global digital media company into Brazil and China, and experienced rapid organic growth with over 30 Million page views per month combined. In addition, he oversaw the build out of Sharecare, an interactive, social Q & A platform that allows people to ask, learn and act upon questions of health and wellness created by Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz, in partnership with Harpo Studios, Remark Media, Sony Pictures Television and Discovery Communications. Prior to this, Swayne was President and COO of HowStuffWorks US, which was acquired by Discovery Communications in 2005.
Swayne also led the product division as part of an investor inserted management team at N2 Broadband, which was acquired by Tandberg TV in 2003. He co-founded and was President of A.D.A.M. (Nasdaq: ADAM - News) in 1990, a leading developer of interactive health information and decision support tools for the healthcare and education markets, which he took public in 1995 and was acquired by EBIX in 2010.
