Gerhard serves as Managing Director of Hebron Change Enablement Services. Hebron’s focus is to provide consulting, training, and software solutions in the business modeling environment. Hebron has recently become the implementation partner of BusinessGenetics® Inc., the founders of the world renowned Business Modeling Language™ (BML™) methodology. They hold various other strategic partnerships, including one with the leading South African Project Management Company, PM.Ideas.
Gerhard has over 40 years of experience in project management and business analysis. Beginning his career as a computer programmer, he quickly moved through the ranks to become General Manager of a medium sized bank at the age of forty. Gerhard developed application systems in various roles for the local government, mining and banking industries. During the mid-80’s, Gerhard was introduced to various Information Engineering methods. Eventually, his growing passion for a structured architectural approach in information systems led him to become a Systems Development Consultant and eventually the Lead Architect for IBM’s outsourcing solutions in South Africa.
During his collegiate career, Gerhard earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute in 2005. He aims to play an active role in establishing a professional services industry that is based on active delivery and providing organizations the true benefit of project management and business analysis. Mr. Olivier is a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis and the Project Management Institute.
