Throughout her brilliant professional career, Anriet has consistently displayed the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Anriet is an experienced art museum curator, trainer, educator and manager who currently serves as Manager and Curator of the internationally renowned Strydom Gallery in George, South Africa in the Western Cape. She is responsible for managing the everyday operations of the gallery, with duties including compiling art and financial budgets; management and supervision of staff; public relations, press and public correspondence; sales and marketing; collection management and documentation; restoration and conservation of collections. Anriet is in charge of organizing innovative exhibitions, workshops and events to enhance brand awareness.
In addition to running the prestigious gallery, Anriet is a Registered Teacher with the South African Council for Educators, which is the professional national body for educators in South Africa. She also runs her own private consultation service, providing color, scenography, and creative therapies. Anriet attends to the needs of clients through the provision of workshops, speeches, and presentations.
During her collegiate career, Anriet earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, Higher Education Diploma, Master of Arts in Fine Arts, Post Graduate Diploma in Museology from the University of Stellenbosch. She is the Founding Member of the Expressive Arts Therapy Association of South Africa and of the Endometriosis Association of South Africa.
