Anderson has been accepted into the exclusive ranks of Stanford Who’s Who as a result of her exceptional effort in the legal services industry. Anderson Law & Mediation Services is a law firm which provides legal and mediation services to clients in the areas of family law, family dispute resolution, insurance law, powers of attorney, wills, and enduring guardianships. Sonia, who has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer, has enjoyed a career focused on helping people to resolve conflict. She specializes in providing holistic solutions for clients, helping them to resolve their own conflicts as opposed to going through the hassle of the court system.

Sonia has been appointed to the New South Wales District Court Panel of Mediators and the Law Society Panel of Mediators. She is a Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. She is also an Accredited Mediator under the National Mediation Standard as well as being accredited by Integro as a DISC Provider and accredited as a “Free to be Me” Course Facilitator. In addition, Sonia has been published on numerous occasions, including being the author of the book, Reflections on Law and the Failure of Morality, which was released by Insight Press in 2005.

During her collegiate career, Sonia earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree  from Macquarie University, where she studied Economics, Psychology, and Politics. She serves as a Committee Member of the Newcastle Family Gateway Project and on the management committee of “Carries Place,” a women’s refuge . Sonia is also a member of the New South Wales Law Society, Newcastle Law Society and the Hunter Valley Law Society, LEADR and Holistic Practices Beyond Borders.
