Throughout her brilliant professional career, Shohini has consistently displayed the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Shohini has been sculpting professionally since 1991, working with a variety of mediums including bronze, fiber glass, iron, copper, bronze, paper fiber, and aluminum. She is one of the few women sculptors of Indian origin and is currently residing and working in the United States. Shohini’s sculptures are publicly exhibited in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Eau Clair, Wisconsin, Castlegar, BC, Canada and Gillette, Wyoming and Carbondale, Colorado.
Ms. Ghosh is an incredibly talented artist, whose extraordinary work is primarily inspired by contemporary art and her traditional figurative background in Sculpture. Her style of Sculptural representation is a symbolic representation of personal expression and communication in human figures stylistically. She provides workshops and regularly works on commissions, and also teaches sculpture in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
In addition to her sensational work in the arts, Shohini currently serves as an Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and has been a realtor in Colorado since 2006. During her collegiate career, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture and worked as a sculpting professor at the Sir J.J. School of Art in Mumbai, India. Shohini is a member of the Professional Sculptors Association.
