Prior to starting Aussie Wagyu, Victor held numerous positions in the meat processing industry including Chief Research Scientist and Group Leader of Meat Quality and Industry at the CSIRO Meat Research Laboratory; Project Manager for the Meat Research Corporation with Powell International Technologies Pty. Ltd.; and Research Manager for Ampol Petroleum Limited.
During his collegiate career, Victor studied Chemistry at the University of Queensland. He is a member of the International Stockmen’s Educational Foundation. Mr. Powell has a working knowledge of the regulatory process in Australia, USDA and FDA in the United States, and the Ministry of Health in Japan.
