Claire serves as National Green Jobs Corps Senior Project Officer for NOW Green with Peedac Pty. Ltd. National Green Jobs Corps is the Australian Government’s environmentally focused work experience and accredited training program for 17-24 year olds. Peedac NOW Green specializes in delivering youth training in environment programs for Perth metro and regional projects in Albany, Armadale, Bunbury, Bayswater, Cannington, Gosnells, Gwelup, Kwinana, Joondalup, Mandurah, Midland, Pinjarra and Rockingham. NOW Green activities are open to indigenous and non-indigenous youth aged 17 to 24 years and offer accredited training in Certificate 1 and 2 in Conservation and Land Management.
Prior to her joining NOW Green, Claire was a Program Coordinator with Greening Australia for the federal government initiative Green Corps. During her collegiate career, she earned a Diploma in Marine Studies (Fisheries Management) at Challenger TAFE. Claire is a member of Habitat for Humanity AmeriCorps, Soroptimist International of the Americas, and Partners for Youth Empowerment.
