TOPEKA, KS, March 12, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who is proud to announce the acceptance of Monique Pittman-Lui to the exclusive ranks of premier professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the entertainment industry. As President of Spirit Productions LLC, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Monique has consistently displayed the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world.
Monique has over 20 years of experience as a producer and promoter of the arts in the Midwest region. Spirit Productions offers development, marketing, public relations, and management. Monique provides personalized production that allows clients to concentrate on their art. She is also the Co-Producer of the 2009 Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Ruined, working together with Director Sharon L. Sullivan on the Lynn Nottage story at the Washburn University Theater.
During her collegiate career, Monique earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction in English with a playwriting emphasis at Wayne State University, where she studied under E.M. Broner. She also became a Registered Nurse at the Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing. Monique serves on the Board of Trustees at the Lake Forest Academy and she is an Arts and Action Committee Member with the Topeka Chapter of the Links.
