As a Network Shift Asset Manager with Queensland Rail, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Stack has consistently displayed the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world.
Nigel is responsible for management of network-related and major incidents as well as the compilation of Root Cause Analysis reports. He is also charged with the vetting of communication regarding network-related incidents and aiding network staff with time on track. In addition, Mr. Stack plays an integral role in ensuring that OTV’s, work trains, and hi-rails receive adequate time on track as planned.
Mr. Stack is a 30 year veteran of power generation operations, including startup and commissioning. He has extensive experience in the operation of coal and gas fired subcritical power plants, coal fired supercritical power plants along with combined cycle power plants. Nigel is highly skilled in production and operations frontline management of large industrial assets including power stations and other process plants.
During his collegiate career, Nigel earned a Diploma in Electricity Supply Industry Generation (Operations), Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety, and Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management). He is also a Trade Certified Mechanical Fitter who holds Advanced Boiler and Turbine high risk licenses.
