Dr. Piciacchia serves as Vice President of AMEC, which is a focused supplier of high-value consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world’s oil and gas, minerals and metals, clean energy, environment and infrastructure markets. He is an incredibly knowledgeable engineer with extensive geotechnical and environmental experience. Dr. Piciacchia has worked on numerous site characterizations and decontamination projects as well as mine tailings impoundment design and waste management.

During his collegiate career, Dr. Piciacchia earned a PhD in Geomechanical Engineering from McGill University. He is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers, Association of Professional Engineers of New Brunswick, Canadian Geotechnical Society, International Society of Rock Mechanics, Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
