SINGAPORE, February 21, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who proudly announces the addition of Patrick Woo to the exclusive ranks of premier professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the entertainment industry. As a Visual Effects Technical Director with Double Negative, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Woo has routinely demonstrated the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 1998, Double Negative is a company who has grown from humble beginnings to become Europe’s largest provider of visual effects for film. In 2009, they opened their Singapore office which currently houses a team of 150 working closely with the Double Negative team in London, on selected productions. The company has been recognized with several Visual Effects Society awards for films such as Inception and Sherlock Holmes, and BAFTA and Academy Awards for Inception.
Mr. Woo provides creative drive and technical expertise to all projects, ensuring close collaboration with clients. During his collegiate career, he earned a Diploma in Film, Sound and Video from Ngee Ann Polytechnic; Certification in Advanced Computer Animation from the 3Dsense Media School; and a Specialist Diploma in Visual Effects from CG Protégé. Patrick is a member of Singapore Visual Effects and Animation and the Grace Assembly of God.
