SEABROOK, MD, February 17, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who proudly announces the addition of Dr. Melvin Miles Sr. to the exclusive ranks of premier professionals as a result of his magnificent work in music. Throughout his brilliant professional career, Dr. Miles has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Dr. Miles is a Jazz Pianist in AJQ Plus 1, which is a distinctive group of talented musicians with strong personal relationships that was organized in 1996. They are an incredibly talented group whose members have performed and/or shared the stage with nationally acclaimed and dynamic artists such as the legendary Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, Clark Terry, Richard Elliot, the Marcus Johnson Project, Brian Culbertson, Spyro Gyro, Lady Byron and many others.
During his collegiate career, Dr. Miles earned a PhD from Faith Christian University. He is a proud member of the Professional Musicians’ Association. In addition to playing in AJQ Plus 1, Melvin serves as a high school band and chorus instructor as well as teaching at a Christian Bible College.
