As Area Business Development Manager with Scania South Africa as well as throughout his entire career, Christopher has consistently demonstrated the necessary skills and attributes to be considered among the best.

Prior to becoming the Area Business Development Manager of Scania South Africa, Christopher had been responsible with training management for the company. His current obligation is to ensure that all Scania business units in Tanzania and Southern Africa are properly equipped with the required resources to reach their business goals and strategic outcomes.
In addition, Christopher ensures that a world class competence supply chain, talent management programs, and Scania leadership programs are in place. He oversees dealerships, profits, business management, human resources, system maintenance, employer branding, and competence development. In his free time, Christopher enjoys fishing, hiking, reading, travelling and being involved with philanthropic work.
Mr. Crookes holds a Diploma in Training and Development from Technikon Natal, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the International Correspondence School, a Diploma in Advanced Training Management from Wits Technikon, and a Diploma in Photography from the Institute of Photography including a certificate course in journalism from The Writers Bureau London. Christopher is affiliated with Automotive Management Professionals, Gap Consulting, and the Learning and Development Resource Center.
