The world’s largest defense company Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) spent $15 million on lobbying last year, leading US defense companies in lobbying spending.

The company, along with General Dynamics and Raytheon, spent $33.4 million on lobbying in 2011.

Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT)’s vice president for media relations Jennifer Whitflow said, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) has a strong interest in national security, homeland security and other issues including education and technology”.
