Ex-Oracle VP settles with SEC / He allegedly traded in takeover targets known to his wife

The Securities and Exchange Commission has settled insider-trading charges against a former Oracle Corp. vice president accused of trading on confidential information gleaned from his wife, who worked for Oracle CEO Larry Ellison and his two top lieutenants.
