Andrews Proart Services is a company that specializes in fine arts, visual and graphic design solutions which are translated into art pieces for individuals or business. Andrew Urge is the sole proprietor of the company and his skills are mainly expressed in oil, water color, and graphic art forms. His business is designed to bring art into people’s homes and offices through different landscapes, modern creations, drawings, or individual portraits.
Andrew believes that life is full of moments worth capturing and the best way he can accomplish that is through painting. He works towards demonstrating that his works are worth purchasing thus creating a market for his business. Andrew also believes that a constant demand can only be maintained through high standards of quality and he does that by involving himself in every project he undertakes with his heart and soul. Andrew is an artist but still he has a sense of business and management and now he is dedicating his time to organizing and overseeing expositions for his own pieces. On his free time, Andrew is a soccer and tennis enthusiast.
Born in Hungary, Europe, Andrew moved to Australia when he was just a child. He finished school through correspondence and then completed two years at East Sydney Art School. He now has more than 50 years in the art industry and is involved in almost every activity related to art from the Sydney Based Hungarian Community Art Society to all kinds of major exhibitions. Throughout his amazing career he has been rewarded numerous prizes among which was the Lane Cover Art Prize in 1987. He has also exhibited his works in several exhibitions such as the Hungarian Art Society, Mosman Art Prize, Ryde Art Prize, Sydney Royal Easter, and Mixed Bag Exhibition, Balmain 2003.
