WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA, December 23, 2011 /Stanford Who’s Who/– Stanford Who’s Who welcomes Sylvia Fisher as a member of the select society of professionals in the management sector. Throughout her freelance career as a Stage Manager, Sylvia has constantly illustrated the ability and creativity necessary to be recognized within her profession.
Ms. Fisher has been a Stage Manager since 2000 with experience comprised of different projects and contracts with a number of theatres in Winnipeg, Manitoba including the Prairie Theatre Exchange, Theatre Projects Manitoba, Red Roots Theatre, Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, Manitoba Association of Playwrights and Manitoba Opera.
In love with the arts and culture, Ms. Fisher has always utilized her abilities to contribute to the development and implementation of related programs. She is known for her dedication to and enthusiasm for all areas of theatre, especially stage management. Ms. Fisher is also involved in volunteering for the Winnipeg Art Gallery, The Actors’ Fund of Canada, the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and the Winnipeg Folk Festival.
Ms. Fisher holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Concordia University and is also a member of the Canadian Actors Equity Association as well as several other associations and societies related to arts and culture. With a communicative nature, the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously, and a natural inclination to arts, Sylvia enjoys the benefits of a career marked with remarkable events.
