HANCOCK, MD,   December 21, 2011 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who proudly welcomes Mark J. Valko to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of his exceptional effort in the education industry. As a Music Teacher with Clear Spring Middle School, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mark has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.

Mr. Valko is an employee of the Washington County Board of Education, teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced band students from 6th through 8th grade. His teaching style incorporates an exciting blend of music instrumentation and technology, exploring some of the greatest composers in the history of music and writing music in nonconventional ways.

During his collegiate career, Mark earned a Master’s degree in Integrating Technology through Instruments and Music. He is a member of the Hancock Arts Council, Hagerstown Municipal Band, Tri State Big Band, and the Hancock United Methodist Church Praise Band.
