The University of Newcastle Foundation was established to attract philanthropic support from alumni, community, business organizations and industry leaders in support of the University. This is being accomplished through donations, investments and endowment for scholarships, academic positions and research centers. The Foundation’s role is to ensure they are managed in the best interests of the donors, the beneficiaries and the University.

Libby is a Certified Fundraising Executive who is responsible for stewarding existing donors as well as finding new donors for specific projects, scholarships, prizes and research. During her academic career, she earned a Bachelor of Education degree in Art from the University of Newcastle, and post graduate Diploma. Libby is also a Fellow of Fundraising Institute Australia.
