Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) shares jumped 6.4% to $18.73 after the Dow industrials component and networking-equipment maker late Wednesday projected earnings for the second quarter of its 2012 fiscal year that would be above analysts’ estimates.
