Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) has decided to boost their services in Hawaii.

Overland Park, Kansas based Telecommunications Company, Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S), has decided to improve their services in Kaunakakai, Hawaii.

It is reported that Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) replaced three cell phone antennae with new ones, to enhance the signal reception to the subscribers of Kaunakakai area.

William Keoni Fox, consultant of Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) assigned for Hawaii, said, “We’re trying to use an existing site to try to give better coverage to Kaunakakai. If we put up a 50-foot or 60-foot tower in the middle of town, we’d probably have awesome coverage.”
