Novartis receives EU approval for Votubia®, the first medication to treat children and adults with SEGA associated with TSC

Novartis announced today that the European Commission (EC) has approved Votubia® (everolimus) tablets* for the treatment of patients aged 3 years and older, with subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) associated with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), who require therapeutic intervention but are not amenable to surgery[1].
