Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has been granted 40 design patents in China.

The US based Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) was granted 40 design patents by China’s Patent Office on September 9.

The patents cover 37 of its products, including the iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air, as well as the architecture of its three stores in Shanghai.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) was also granted patents on its iAd mobile advertising network, nine for its iPod nano and four on the MacBook Air.
