Dow losing 31 points to 12,692 despite approval of a financial assistance package for Greece as corporate earnings disappointed. Nasdaq climbed 21 points to 2856.
On the upside
Shares of specialty retailer Francesca's Holdings (Nasdaq: FRAN) surged in its market debut.
Fourth quarter earnings tumbled for Western Digital (NYSE: WDC) but the results beat analyst expectations by a wide margin.
Cepheid (Nasdaq: CPHD) reversed year ago losses to post a better than expected profit for the second quarter.
C. R. Bard (NYSE: BCR) blamed a litigation charge for swinging to a second quarter loss.
