Medicexchange, a majority owned subsidiary of Medicsight Inc. (AMEX: MGT), has signed an agreement with The Chinese Journal of Radiology (CJR), a journal under the Chinese Medical Association, for a collaboration with its medical imaging portal, www.medicexchange.com, a tailor-made platform for total clinical imaging diagnosis solutions in China to supply clinical abstracts simultaneously with the journal and papers half year later than the journal's publishing.
Under the agreement, the collaboration allows the publication of all abstracts and archived full editions from the CJR to be posted in each of the medicexchange's clinical communities.
David Sumner, CEO of Medicsight Asia, said: "I am delighted to be working with China's most popular and influential Radiology journal. We see this opportunity as a giant leap forward for Medicexchange(TM) as it enables a visitor to the site not only the option to view the world's leading medical imaging software solutions, but also the option to view all of the CJR abstracts and archived editions online. If a reader decides that they want to obtain a particular clinical paper in full, they can then obtain a hard copy of the CJR in the usual manner."
Sumner continued: "We are confident that this type of quality imaging diagnosis content of CJR will encourage Radiologists to visit medicexchange.com regularly, facilitate the development of medicexchange.com and review academic papers that are generated from some of the leading academic centers in the world today."
Ms. Gao Hong, Director of the Chinese Journal of Radiology, said: "We too are delighted with this partnership. It will allow stronger influence of the journal in the world. We believe that this collaboration will further develop the China Journal of Radiology into a true global brand and also increase awareness of the latest imaging diagnostic work being conducted in China today among medical professionals."
