VGZ a little known nugget (VGZ, rated BUY)

VGZ has several good prospects but the one mist prominent at the moment is the Mt Todd project in Australia. The mine has a 4million oz proven and probable reserve and feasibility studies put extraction at around $500 per oz. Further more the feasibility study shows a 14 year mine life with $1billion in profit with gold at $1000 per oz and around $2.5billion if Gold is at $1500 per oz. The community and local government heavily support VGZ in this initiative especially given the additional environmental cleanup they are performing from the prior miner. With a market cap of 150million this stock is dirt cheap. There are only 2 analysts that follow the stock but they both give the stock a target price above $20. The only reason I say $10 within less than 2 years is that I anticipate they will dilute to help finance project. VGZ also has a nice project in Baja, a project in Idaho that they just doubled by buying the majority in Midas Gold, a prospect in Mexico that still has a way to go and smaller stakes in Long valley California and Indonesia that are closer to 1m oz. This is an easy 300% gains stock with $20 per share as outlined by other analysts as a distinct possibility although I would expect that to be more in the 3-5 year range and dependent on a wide range of variables. Either way, at todays price of <$3.50 and a 150m market cap, this stock is a steal! -TCK
