Hot Stock Movers to watch on Wednesday, March 16
( click to enlarge )Cleveland BioLabs, Inc. (NASDAQ:CBLI) has been on an amazing run higher over the past two day, breaking again to new highs during today's session. At the present level the stock is incredibly extended. I'm bullish on this stock but in situations like this, I prefer to wait for a pullback rather than chase the market. Technically, the stock is still in a very strong bull market with MACD on top of signal line and 50-day moving average on top of 200-day moving average.
( click to enlarge )Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) has been in a corrective phase since the beginning of this month along with the rest of the US equities. The stock was a nice play on the short side after have broken the support line last week, however it looks like there is more downside here. Short term momentum indicators, like MACD, RSI, Stochastics are substantially oversold but have yet to show technical signs of a recovery.
( click to enlarge )Trina Solar Limited (NYSE:TSL) did make a sharper move upwards during today's market and closed up almost 8% from yesterday's close. Since the beginning of this week, TSL share prices have increased from $24 to today’s high of $28.55 for 19% gains. Short term momentum indicators are substantially oversold and are now showing technical signs of recovery. The break of the resistance line at $30.75 with heavy volume should be the next buy point on TSL. So, keep an eye on the stock and watch it trade in tomorrow's market.
