Hilltown Resources Inc. (the "Company") (CNSX:HLT) has amended a letter of intent announced in its news release of December 2, 2011 to option 11 mineral claims comprising 13,085 hectares located in Bahia State, Brazil (the "Claims"). After preliminary due diligence Hilltown has decided to continue with only four Claims comprising 6,286 hectares. The expenditures of $1,600,000 is halved to $800,000 in three years: year 1- $100,000, year 2- $200,000 and year 3 - $500,000 and reimbursement of the Owners acquisition and exploration costs is halved to Reais $75,000. A manganese royalty was dropped.

Completion of a formal agreement is subject to the review of assay results.
