Home Construction Nudges Up Following 2 Months Of Declines
Home construction has nudged up after two months of declines. Builders started on a seasonally adjusted 555,000 units in November, up 3.9% from October, the Commerce Department said Thursday. Even with the gain, housing starts are just 16% above the 477,000 unit pace from April 2009 -- the lowest point on records dating back to 1959.
