DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 11/01/10 -- Artfest International, Inc. (OTCBB: ARTS) is pleased to announce that the Company has acquired UWFL (United Women's Football League), a division of AIFC, Inc.
UWFL was created for the purpose of unification of American football. This league was assembled from the best women's football teams in North America. These teams have been in existence for the past ten years and all of them represent championship winners in their respective leagues. The season starts in April 2011, with a championship game to be played on July 30th, 2011 in Arlington, Texas. The games will be televised both through national and international television, satellite, cable and IPTV distribution channels. The league is composed of 12 current champions, 4 to 6 new franchises, and over 48 tier one and tier two national teams. The pre-season television roll out will begin in January 2011 on major networks and will continue with 8 live televised games per weekend in April through July 2011. The content will feature documentaries and interviews featuring all the current teams, their history and statistics. Each team will feature their own "behind the scenes reality show," and will participate with a UWFL Fantasy Football League. The league will also produce a "Pro Bowl," as well as compete in the International "American Football" Championship held in Europe.
"We are extremely excited to add this significant asset to our company. Artfest has sponsored and produced several games this past season, which enabled us to get distribution and funding commitments for the league. This will enhance our position with other pro sports teams and leagues. CSD sports will produce and fulfill all the merchandise for the league and will continue with its "Game Day Worn" collectables and memorabilia program for the UWFL," stated Scott Tassan, Artfest VP of Productions.
Artfest will utilize its new acquisition, Pat Summerall Productions, to exclusively produce and develop the shows, weekly broadcasts and commentaries. The games will feature some of the best commentators, analyst and pro football players both current and past. All of the half time shows will be exclusively produced by Artchannel TV, and will feature some of the world's greatest artists and performers. Artfest will use its 3D E-Cine technology to shoot, produce and broadcast the games in 3D High Def. The 3D process, will simultaneously broadcast regular HDTV signal for use on non 3D Networks.
"Edward and our team have shot in 3D for the past 20 years, with some of the greatest artists and productions in the world, from Rockolla in 3D for Coca-Cola to KISS psycho circus 3D world tour; we have wowed the world and its audience. Now, we get to broadcast a first ever 3D American Football season, with sponsors and commercials and live 'in your face 3D,'" stated Angie Tassan, Artfest CMO.

Bringing forth to the public the growth and expansion of UWFL, Artfest International Inc., and its subsidiaries: Pat Summerall Productions, Starfest Direct, Inc., Artchannel Television, and Starfest Technologies.
"I'm excited to expand our involvement with the women's Football league, UWFL. Art Channel and Pat Summerall production division, www.ArtChannel.tv, have already shot the games and produced a pilot for the league, as well as funded the Team USA's visit to compete in Europe this year. I'm honored that the Team USA has won the gold and that our production group along with UWFL are uniting the professional women's football. We have already built a set in our studio, and are anticipating to: "Make history with Pat Summerall!" stated William Strother, VP of Production, Artchannel TV.
"Our company is ready to expand into new territories and optimize all of our current acquisitions. UWFL will tremendously increase our revenues and CSD's position in the world of professional sports leagues and teams. We anticipate doubling our revenues for CSD with this new league, and we feel that we can attract more members to our Starfest Direct. With millions of television viewers we will expand our audiences and increase the awareness for our Starfest Technologies, Starfest Direct marketing and "monetize" the fan base of athletes and celebrities. Content in 3D, has opened more distribution for us since more and more Television Networks now own sister 3D channels. The response for our content and concept has been great. We expect to hit over 80 plus million homes just for the first year, with a $25 to $30 million forecast in Television revenues in the first year alone. Therefore, by increasing the awareness, audience and increasing true revenues, we will increase shareholders values and price per share," stated Edward Vakser, CEO.
